What a horrible day
Got to Wood Lane School this morning to do a talk in their harvest festival to discover that one of my friends little boy was hit by a car this morning. I comforted his brother and sister and then had to sit through the whole assembly to do my bit at the end wondering how serious the accident was and what was happening to the little boy. After the assembly the brother and sister got really upset as did my other friends two children who were there when it happened. So we all sat in the staff room with some of the staff from the school. The Headteacher went to the hospital taking my other friends children home, and i joined them at their home with their Mum who has recently had an operation. (Hope you are following) Anyway - we sat around all morning recieving phone calls...and.. the little boy AMAZINGLY is fine - with hopefully just concusion and should be out of hospital soon. I AM EXHAUSTED, so much emotional energy used up today. Also reminded me how i have to be soo soo careful of Zak and roads, and not trust him as much as i do!!! So many people were praying and we have such a GOOD GOD that obviously protected this little boy.
Phewwww
