Am I in tune?

Jon and I have started meeting with our friends Donna and Duncan to look together at the Bible and pray for each other in a relaxed format at each others houses. Last week we watched a Nooma (think thats how its spelt!!) which is a 10min video produced by a Christian Rob Bell and he has produced lots of them looking at lots of different things. We watched the 'Rhythm' one last Wednesday and I thought it was really good. Basically God is all around us - the good news of Jesus is always there - both like a song playing all the time - and the question is am I in tune with this? Am I in tune with God? It's hard at the moment as the Church Jon works at is not our 'chosen' Church and various bits about it mean that it is hard to keep up my realationship with God - meaning I'm not really that in tune. But what struck me the most is that if you can't sing and can't sing in tune like many of the Fame Academy for Comic Relief (how did Tara get in the final????) students can't - you can practice, you can learn, you can pick up tips as to how to sing in tune. And I need to do this more in my relationship with God - put more time and effort in, find ways that are going to help me stay in tune, be in tune.

Zak is ill - poor boy! Snotty and temperature and just looking very red and heavy eyed. Maisey is snotty but seems to be okay although she has started coughing at night. I have a 'dormant' cold that I've had since last Thursday which is very annoying - today i've had sore ears and sore sinisus (but no snot really?? strange!!!) and Jon is brewing a cold to - all typical as we are away next week with my Dad and brother and sister to Centre Parcs. So loooking forward to a break and some free babysitting but dont want to be ill all week!!!!
