Havent done many entries recently - mainly because Jon (hubby) does one like every day and covers a lot of what I would write (www.realyouth.net). But thought I would do a few little comments.

Big Brother
I watched all the ladies go into the Big Brother house on Wednesday - what really struck me was the first impressions that the crowd gave to the housemates was so strong. How can people 'boo' someone that they have only seen a short video clip of. For all we know the housemates that got the 'boos' and who seem to not be 'very nice' may be the ones that everyone loves in a few weeks time. It just really struck me how first impressions sometimes can completely mask our view of people.

Gatwick Airport
We took Zak to Gatwick Airport to see the planes when we went to see my Mum - but there is nowhere in the airport that you can see them - how silly is that - they shut the viewing area about three years ago. Hard to explain to a three year old why we couldnt see any planes at the airport!!!

New Church
Well we have only tried one so far!!! Not doing too good on that one - enjoying the freedom of free weekends. I really miss the people at St James though and dont like not knowing people at new Churches that we visit. We have always been the youth worker and youth workers wife so people have always come up and talked to us - but now it seems we have to make the effort a bit as well!! Hmmm!!!!

Zak and injections
Zak doesnt like injections!!! Took him for his pre school booster this week! Told him all about it and why he had to have them and how Maisey had them and she was fine. The first injection was not to bad he cried but was okay - but then they did another one in the other arm - he really didnt like that!!! Then for the next two hours unless he was totally focused on something else and occupied he just cried and cried and cried!! Gave him his lunch (thanks Hilary for the sausage roll) and i gave him a cuddle lying down on the sofa and he fell asleep for one and a half hours and then he woke completely fine and back to the normal Zak!!! Phew!!!!!
