Night out and Prampushers today
Had a really nice night out last night. Didn't do anything that exciting just went round to my friend Rachels house - her husband was away, we had a Chinese, drunk wine, watched telly and chatted. It was just a really nice night - and even better that I got our of putting the kids to bed. Really really annoying though that Jon said he didn't have to return Maisey to bed ATALL. Why is it that I return her to bed about 17 times and he didn't have to do it ONCE?? Hmm - am I being taken for a ride or does Jon have to do bedtime now? (hurrrah!!!)
Prampushers is the toddler group in the village that I have taken both the kids to - Zak misses it now that he is at Nursery (and he does miss it, gets sad when I say that I have taken Maisey there). Poor Maisey got a bit battered today! As I know I can trust Maisey not to batter any children or cause any major trouble I do tend to leave her to play and just check her every now and again. She did today however get battered a few times and has a big couple of nice scratch marks on her face from one child. So she spent most of the morning crying! I also went to the toilets to find one child had filled both sinks up with water and they were overflowing and water was all over the floor. I asked him what he was doing and he said "hands dirty" - fair enough!!! I then spent a while trying to mop up the water with a really useless mop that just spread the water around rather than mop it up. The Church administrator then found a 'water sucker up machine' that helped a bit more, then I just used paper towels to mop the rest up!!! What a fun morning!!!!
