Half term fun!!!

Half term has gone so quick! It started with our friends Richard and Coz and kids coming and staying one night and going to Ashbourne for the day where we had a really lovely sunny day. Monday Mums and Toddlers was here plus I had two extra children for the morning. Zak and Maisey then went to the 'extra childrens' house in the afternoon. We then met Jon at Festival Park and went to IKEA to meet our friends Sarah and Derek and had a fun evening. Tuesday we had a lazy day round the house and in the garden. Wednesday we dropped Jon off at work and went to Ellies house for the day. At one point Joe (same age as Zak) and Maisey were giggling their heads off - we went to investigate!!! Joe had just done a poo and Maisey was wiping his bottom!!! They thought it was highly amusing. Thursday I forgot to take the buggy out of the car so Jon took it to work! So had to limit what we did as to what Maisey would cope with! Stayed in, in the morning and then went to Zaks good friends Madeleine's for birthday tea. Friday I had to stay in for the boiler man who came about 1ish (see Jons blog for more details www.realyouth.net/weblog). We then got on the bus and met Jon in Newcastle as he had some TOIL time, had a nice wander round the shops and got some bargains in JJB that had a closing down sale - a pair of summer trousers for me for £4 - BARGAIN!!! Then home and our lovely friends (kids Godparents) James and Katy came and stayed till after Church today. Church was about fasting today and a lady from America talked for a bit about what her Church did - many people in her Church had done 40 day fasts - how do people do that?? I feel really ill and faint if I miss ONE MEAL!!!!  Had a really lovely time with James and Katy - lovely people!!! So that was half term - probably made boring reading but there you go!!!!
