Maisey and bedtime!!!

As you may have been reading Maisey has been a little monster at bedtime for at least a couple of months now. We have tried every technique to no success. So we decided whilst away at Center Parcs our new tactic!!! We were going to start on Saturday night but both the kids fell asleep on the way back from Zak's birthday Pizza hut dinner so we just lifted her into bed. So Sunday night was the first night! We had decided that as nothing else had worked we were going to put a stair gate on the bedroom door and totally ignore her. And that is what we did, I was not looking forward to Sunday night and thought we would be getting at least a couple of hours screaming. After 21mins of standing at the stair gate shouting and crying she put herself into bed and went to sleep!! Monday night she stayed quiet in bed for about 10mins, we heard her get out of bed and scream at the stair gate for about 1min and then heard her put herself back into bed. Then last night no crying or anything!!!! RESULT!!!! So pleased and so simple - why didnt we think of that earlier?? Guess we thought it was a bit harsh - but it worked!!!!!
