The earth moved . . . . .

When dropping Zak off this morning my friend (knowing we had had a new mattress yesterday) asked me if the 'earth moved for me' last night - I explained that we were very busy and hadn't got round to 'christening' the bed yet. She replied 'No .. . Lara . . .Silly - the earthquake' - thinking back to the night I woke at around one as the wardrobe was really shaking - sounded like a really really large lorry had gone past the house and shook everything - I also felt a bit weird like 'shaky' got up for a wee and went back to sleep!!! What woke me up was an earthquake!!! Don't think of having earthquakes in our country - but it was really quite scary - don't think I would have liked it if I was properly awake!!!!

So first night on our new mattress was an interesting one!! My shoulders really hurt from my B'day present from Jon on Monday a 'snowboard taster session' - was really good fun but for some reason my shoulders are really sore!!! So I kept waking up every time I rolled over as my shoulders were sore! Then Maisey woke at 4.45 and came in our bed, then Zak was awake at 5.45!!! Children!!! Why do they never lie in????
