What a weekend!!!

I have this flap of gum that goes over the back of one of my wisdom teeth, sometimes it gets a bit sore, I brush it and it gets better in a day. On Wednesday it started to get sore, and more sore and more sore. Friday afternoon it was really painful, I managed to get to sleep but woke about an hour later in agony - I went downstairs to Jon who was still up and cried!! I told him it was like having a contraction and Jon said "what on and off pain" "NO" I replied "It hurts all the time". I dosed myself up with paracetamol and Ibuprofen and got about three hours sleep. We are not registered with a dentist - mainly because I dont really like going and was spoilt as a child going to a lovely Dentist Nigel who worked where my Mum did at the time in Harley Street. I managed to get an appointment with an NHS emergency service. The dentist looked in my mouth and prescribed me antibiotics and mouthwash. The pain was so bad and made me feel quite ill all weekend, but the antibiotics have worked and the swelling and pain is much less although still not completely gone which is a bit worrying as I only have one day left of the antibiotics.

We were in Rugby at the weekend for our good friend Robs birthday party. We managed to fit in seeing a couple of other people and went to our old Church as well so was fab to catch up with so many people, just would have been nicer if pain free!!!

Sods law though I started taking the pill this last week. These antibiotics cancel it out so it wont be effective till seven days after I have stopped them!!!! Typical!!!!

Managed to find an NHS dentist this afternoon though after ages of looking. Have the forms to fill in and Jon will take them back tomorrow hopefully! Not really looking forward to going to dentist but needs to be done and Zak is very excited!!!
