No more highlights
Well the big thing this week has been that I no longer have highlights in my hair!!! I've had them for about seven years all done by our wonderful friend Josie. Josie and her husband are moving to London when they can sell their house and so travelling there for haircuts is just not possible. So I made the decision to get rid of them as we can't justify spending £70 every 9 weeks or so for me to have them done. So very sad, I miss them!!! Sure I will get used to them though and Josie gave me a really good cut so i'm very curly at the moment!!!
Jon and I are still planning on applying for the Harbourne jobs. We had a big talk about our future over the weekend and it does seem right to be applying for these jobs.
I was having a lie in on Sunday morning (Jon got up with the kids), when I came downstairs the phone rang and it was someone from Church asking if one of us could do the kids group.Jon volunteered me!!! I did it, it was good but hard work going in cold, doing a session
someone else had planned! Jon told me after that him and Zak were praying for a 'sign' from God about what I should be doing with jobs etc, and this seemed like that 'sign'.
We have really busy week this week - involves someone staying her Tue-Sat, then another person Fri-Sun. Jon away all day (and overnight) on Wed and Thu and Jon working on Sat.
Having lazy morning at home today as I think i'm fighting a tummy bug and I didn't sleep very well atall last night.
