Sunny Saturday

Had a really lovely day yesterday around home. We went to the tip this morning, then Jon's parents arrived. We were out in the garden from just before lunch till tea time. Kids blew some new bubbles they got with their pocket money from Great Grandad, we weeded, mowed the lawns, planted seeds. We popped into the village and I bought two tomatoe plants and saw a cucumber plant - never grown them before and Zak loves them so we decided to buy one - but Zak INSISTED on buying it with his pocket money. Maisey carried the plant home and now I'm not sure if its 'stalk' will keep it alive as it got a bit battered!!! Time will tell!!! I've been a bit naughty this year and put weed killer on my veggie patch - it was soooo full of weeds and Mum said that one she bought me would be fine to use on the veggie patch - so things are slightly dying and soon will be able to dig it over - but need something to make the soil and bit 'richer' - Mum said she would email me with what to do. 

Had a nice day today - to Church this morning with our friends, then the plan was to have a picnic but it was tipping with rain so went back to their house for our pack lunches then took the kids to a soft play - really nice day!

Now sitting watching God TV - bit sad for a Sunday night but everyone at Church is going on about this big thing happening in Florida so Jon and I thougth we should check it out and see what we think - hmmmm!!!!
