Long long time no blog

| | Comments (1)

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!! Havent blogged for ages and ages I know!! A while back Jon and I both applied for different jobs at a Church in Bham - Jon youth worker and me children's worker. Neither of us got the jobs but both went for interview - I couldn't blog about this!! Then a few weeks ago we found out that Jon has no job as of the end of August!!! PANIC!!! We are both madly applying for jobs, and the house is nearly ready to go on the market as we doubt we will get jobs round here. Be really sad to leave this house - our first ever house that we have bought -  I've become quite attached to it. I really want to live either near my parents, in Bham near Jon's parents or near Rugby way - places where we know people and have got a support system not too far away. Jon however has a job interview in July way up north - three hours from his parents and ages and ages away from mine - hmmmm!!

I'm really tired at the moment as don't stop from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. This morning by 10am I had got two children up and ready and Zak to Tamlyns for school run, emptied dishwasher, put the washing on the line, cleaned up the kitchen and did some washing up, put a whole load of stuff in the garage, and painted two outhouse doors!!! Quiet good for 3 hours work I think!!!

Zak's swimming lessons have finished and due to our uncertain future we will not put him in for any more at the moment. He has done so well from not wanting to even go in the water and having a huge stress, to being able to swim (with armbands) on his back and his front. Two things to work on now when we take him swimming are star floats and getting him to swim out of his depth.

Maisey is potty trained! We 'tackled' it in half term and within four days she had pretty much got it sorted, we have had a few poos in her pants but can't remember the last time she did a wee in her pants. Such a clever little girl - has amazed me how well she has done. Was hard work those first couple of days though.

Mum is progressing okay! Still on two crutches most of the time but is getting out and about! She is being a very brave lady and coming up to see us soon on the train - well done Mum!!

Thats our main news - will now try and keep this blog up to date as I can write about the things that i have been wanting to write about!!!

Take care,
