bye bye cats :(
Yesterday was a very sad day. Because we will be moving in with a friend in Rugby for a while we had to re-home the cats. We found a charity run by a lady that re-homes any animal from mice to horses. We had to take the cats to the vets first to have their jabs and then took them to this place in Stafford. They are in an avery with about 10 other cats. All the cats seemed chilled out and none were meowing madly or clawing to get out. The man took Dog and Ee into the avery and let them out of their box, they jumped out and sniffed upto the other cats. It was really sad though and I cried quite a lot during the whole time and on the way home. I knew it had to be done and there was no way around it, but all I have thought about since we dropped them off is their little faces as we left them there yesterday. Lets hope they have a happy life and get re-homed together soon. I didn't realise quiet how old they were - 8 and 7, we have had them quiet a long time.
Today was the big move, we had our trailor and car full and Jon's Dads car full of all our stuff. Jons Mum and me and the kids went on the train. We were ment to go on two trains but it ended up being 3. Then we decided to walk to Robs house which should have been a 10min walk, but I got a bit lost and for those of you that know Rugby instead of ending up at Robs house we ended up right next to Caldecott park. OOps.
It was very sad saying goodbye to our amazing next door neighbours Brian and Sheila - we will be back at our house every now and again so will see them then. But they are just the best ever next door neighbours and I will miss them so much. They are just FAB!!
All we have unpacked is the kids beds, just had tea then need a quick trip to Tesco and put kids to bed and some sorting out to do. Seems all a bit odd, can't really believe that we are living back in Rugby. Seems just like a holiday at the moment.
The kids have been great today - well Zak has. Maisey has been a bit naughty today. Zak got a bit emotional this morning about everything and cried saying he missed the cats. Looking forward to getting the kids back in some kind of routine after holiday and hectic lives.
Will be without internet for a while but will try and go to library and get things up to date then. Using friends internet at mo where we have been for tea.
Sleep well XXXX

Glad you have arrived safely in Rugby and made the first step along your new journey. Hope you had a nice tea- we missed you at the BBQ. See you when you get time to visit us x
