Life in Rugby

Sorry not blogged for a while - life in Rugby has been kind of busy!!! So much more to do here than in Audley!!! Breakdown of the last week is:

Monday - Jon's first day. Went to see friend Coz and her kids for part of the day, she gave me a lift home and Zak screamed - Oscar had sprayed fairy power spray in his eyes - wooppss!! No harm done anyways!!! Jon and I had a take away to celebrate Jon's first day.

Tuesday - Met my friend Gill at soft play in the morning, then went into Rugby and did a bit of shopping.

Wednesday - Went to library in the morning then got the bus to Coventry and met Jon from work as he had the afternoon off. Got Zak's school shoes and the rest of his uniform. Had a really nice afternoon together.

Thursday - Walked to a playground that was a bit further away than we thought!!! Think we went into Rugby in the afternoon, cant remember!!!

Friday - Went to a different playground in the morning, then went to the museum in the afternoon and made roman shields with the kids (paper shields with things stuck on them!!!)

Saturday - Jon and Zak went out for the morning, then went to friends Derek and Sarah for afternoon and tea.

Sunday - Got invited to the Wildings for Sunday lunch which was great! Then Dad came late afternoon.

Monday - Dad here for the day. We were going to go to Coombe Abbey country park for the day but all roads shut off because of the plane crash. Went to see a Holographic exhibition at the library then bus into Cov and went round the Cathedral which kids actually really enjoyed. Dad treated us to a lovely meal at the Harvester.

Tuesday - went for my new patient check up at doctors - bit of a palava about my repeat prescription but I got it in the end!!!! Found out that I am a stone heavier than I was in 1999 - not too bad I guess after having two children, but would like to loose that stone somehow - I just love my little treats!!!!! I do enough walking - maybe I will have to walk a little faster!!!

So thats my weeks breakdown. Been good to be busy. Really loving having lots of playgrounds around. Missing Audley people and need to get some dates in the diary for meeting up. Kids are really excited about going to France on Sunday - and going on an aeroplane for the first time. There are going to be loads of us there - hopefully some child free time for Jon and I. Us four are going and Ruth (Step Mum kind of!!) my half sister Jess and her boyfriend Ric, my half brother Sam and his mate, my step sister Jo and her man Gregor, and step sister Manda and her partner Gwen. Should be fun!! I havent really thought about packing yet so I should think about that.

Been looking forward to watching HOlby City all day (I know I am sad) and its NOT ON!!! Grrrrr!!!! Oh well! Will watch Trinny and Susannah at nine!
