Sunny France

We got back from France last Sunday and what a fab week we had. The kids went on a plane for the first time, Maisey took it all in her stride and Zak laughed so much on take off - so think they found flying a positive experience!!! We stayed in Ruth's sisters house and there was 13 of us - so a real break for me as all the cooking, washing up and childcare was distributed between all of us!! The weather was amazing at least 30degrees every day. We went swimming in the mediteranean (I cant spell) and Zak called it the 'Medicine Alien' sea, it was lovely and warm!!! We went to Cannes for the day which was nice - there was a really really posh bit and then the markets and not much inbetween. Spent quite a few days pottering by the pool and the house and ate lots of french bread and cheese! Jon and I managed to get a bit of a tan, and we managed to not get the kids sunburnt atall which was good! Zak and Maiseys heat bumps didnt come up either (well Maisey got some on the last day) so that was really good to. Jon was brave and drove - I did not feel brave enough to do it - I'm sure that I would have caused an accident!!!!  So all in all a fab fab holiday and we are going to try and get abroad more often now that we all have passports.
