Life is good. No, wait, it's bad. No...

I have had the most frustrating bank holiday weekend (in some respects) but it was also really quite pleasant.

To start off, I completely forgot that it was a bank holiday on monday, so when our friends called to say we couldn't go and see them on sunday afternoon cos they were ill(bad), we decided to visit my parents instead - at which point I discovered that it was a bank holiday 'cos they asked if we wanted to stay 'til Monday and the penny finally clicked (good), so off to Birmingham (Halesowen, ACTUALLY) we went.

When we got there I decided to connect my computer to the my brother's wireless network to check why my blog had stopped responding completely (bad), only to find that somehow after 5 mins of being connected, the whole network and internet connection failed (which annoyed both me and my high tarriff paying brother) (bad).

Anyhoo, by Monday morning it was all up and running again (after 4 hours working out how to fix it the night before) and everyone was happy (good). We went to starbucks and bought coffee's, cinnamon swirls and a toilet step for Zak (from a different shop). (good), but still no sign of a working blog anywhere (bad).

And that was where yesterday ended (apart from driving back to Audley which was prettu uneventful)

And today has been busy too. I spent ages trying to get this (flippin) blog to work, and ended up having to install a complete upgrade (bad), but now it works again (good). I spent ages trying to fix an old Dyson from NSYFC without a huge amount of success (bad), and just when I thought I was done for the day, Lara goes out to a meeting and leaves me to put the kids to bed...

Normally that's not a problem, but today seems to be different. As I was putting Zak to bed, Maisey woke up and started SCREAMING!! (bad). In the end I had to un-freeze (I'm sure there's a better word than that) some breast milk (Lara's) and give her that (bad). But now, after 1hr 5mins of SCREAMING baby, she is asleep and I finally get to post a new entry on my blog.

Life is good... oh, hold on.... is that a baby I can hear?

Must dash!!

p.s. I know you can't re-freeze breast millk, but I only un-froze half of it, so can the other bit go back in the freezer? Who knows!!
