Aurora, Church, and penknives!!

I have had a really odd couple of weeks. The Aurora programme has had a few more "teething" troubles (not sure how far into the year I can us that phase for) but I think we're almost sorted now. I could so easily do the YFC thing full time and still have too much to do, but I guess that's life.

The good news, is that although church stuff is still kinda hard, and not sure what the plan for my leaving in the summer is - We actually had our first Youth Leaders Meeting last night. It only took 2 years to organise, and I think it was fairly productive. Obviously there were certain issues that were raised that we weren't able to deal with in one evening, but hopefully it was the start of a longer process of saying "What do we actually want to acheive through our ministry to young people?" - hey, we even came up with a fairly good purpose statement.

So there you go - Life is busy as ever, but there is light at the end of the (preverbial) tunnel.

ps. I got a cool spanky new penknife last week after destroying the blade on my old one in a nasty "Who says I need to turn off the mains before dismantling the dishwasher" type way. We've all been there!! Woohoo.
