Cat Food - how exciting!!

The most interesting thing that happened to me today was buying cat food (and even that is pretty much NOT interesting)...

We normally buy IAMS cat food - the big bags, but we decided this time to buy a smaller one, so I go into the pet shop which shall remain nameless (the one with pets in it that feels quite homely) and noticed that the £13.50 bags were on "buy 2 for £19.99", so some quick calculations and I realised that 2 bags would be a much better deal, and no more expensive than the big bags we normally get.

Anyway, when I get out to the car I look at the reciept and realise that rather than the £19.99 I was expecting, They had sold me the 2 bags as BOGOF (buy 1 get 1 free). Ooh dear, me thinks. And then I start to wonder whether I should go and tell the checkout girl that the prices they are charging are too low. But do I do that? Of course not. I send Lara back in to buy another 2 bags before they realise the mistake. What a godly man I am, I hear you say!!

And that really is the most memorable part of my day. Tim (my brother) left at around 2pm (having woken up at 11.30am) and Lara finally cleaned the dead wasp off the window that she killed last week.

I like being off work, but there's a small part of me that wonders what on earth I'm going to do with the rest of my time off (well, at least until Monday).
