Last Day Blues?
I really don't know what to write tonight. I had a very busy day today, mainly working on the Aurora Promo Video (in 8hrs we completed 38seconds of video, and thought it was "good"). I was also supposed to lead the team devotionals at training today but hadn't even noticed as I was so busy thinking about the video stuff - ooops!!
Played squash again this evening (and won, kinda) then went to our small group and prayed & ate cake together. Twas good.
And tomorrow is my last official day working for God @ St James'. Very odd kinda feelings - I'm actually quite excited about the new chapter unfolding before me, but also finding the wrench from full time hands-on youth ministry a bit tough. I have my last meeting with Peter in the morning. I'm so pleased that my relationship with the church (in general) is still good, but I have to say I am concerned for the young people. I've spent 10 years now learning that young people primarily need reliable mentors & continuity in their lives, and yet it seems that some stuff may come to an end with my departure - I really HATE to think about that, but not a lot I can really do about it I guess.
Anyway, that's enough for today - sorry if there wasn't a lot in there to make you laugh.
More in the extended entry...
What I learned....
- Carrot juice really doesn't work, but people will insist that you try things like that!!
- Some People have really weird hair (and also eyelids)
- Sometimes, what you think will make someone happy, actually just messes up their plans and annoys them.
- I also learned how to reverse images in an Adobe Premiere Timeline - How exciting!!!
More tomorrow.

You still need to find out the medical name for the eyelid thing...
