A blog is for life...
I really can't believe how long it is since I last blogged.
The truth is, that after spending weeks getting the NSYFC website ready for the PASSION event a couple of weeks back, and then working on the updated Queensberry Rules website in every spare minute, the last thing I've felt like doing is typing random words in the form of sentences onto a compter monitor via a keyboard all about how I've been working hard on computers.
Is this what my life has become? A computer junkie? Surely not!!
Having said that the new TQR website is looking quite snazzy. It's not live yet, but you can check it out by following THIS LINK!!
We now have 3 (and possibly another) applications for Aurora '07-'08, which is cool. The selection process starts next Tuesday, but one of the applicants has emailed to say they can't make the dates we planned, so hopefully she'll be able to come at a different time to meet everyone. I guess these things will happen!!
Apart from that, life is pretty normal (although normal has never before included marriage, kids and a 9-5 job). I'm going to try and start blogging daily again (so much for learning something new every day. I could try to list the stuff I've learned in the last 2 weeks, but my memory's not that amazing, and actually you'd probably just get bored by talk about HTML and javascript.
Anyway, that'll do for now. Interesting discussion starter in extended entry, of you fancy something to comment on.
Cya!!
I was chatting to someone earlier about movies and downloading films from the internet. Personally, I love movies, but don't really agree with downloading them (or at least, I choose not to). There's something about watching a film that you should have paid for that means I never enjoy them quite as much.
The wierd thing is, that I have occasionally downloaded applications if I needed to do something and simply couldn't afford the program to do it with, and this has never really caused my concience a problem, even though most of them would cost far more than a DVD.
It's wierd how the human mind has the capacity to rationalise almost anything.
So here's the question...
Would you download a movie from the internet (even if it was to decide whether you wanted to buy it)?
Let me know your thoughts.

No
And why was it italics for half the post?
Nice to see a blog again mills! (i put that is coz i thought you might miss Ben saying it!)
