A Pain in the Neck!!
Life is so much fun at the moment.... wait for it..... NOT!!
Work @ NSYFC is good and we're still enjoying the extra freedom @ weekends, but nearly everyone I know (including me) is suffering from either illness, stress, anxiety, or a mixture of all 3.
I woke up this morning with the worst pain in the back of my neck. I'm guessing it's a muscular issue as it hurts when I move it to much, but hey - I guess it's best to think the worst - that way things can only get better(??) And we have these stupid ubruprofen that are "timed release" which basically means they don't actually ZAP the pain, they just ease it slightly for 12 hours, which in turn means that I now have to wait another 10hrs before I can take any more - how ridiculous (that's Zak's new word).
Having said all that, there are some positive things happening at the moment. Our friend from NSYFC is getting married on Saturday, which means that Lara gets to buy new shoes (although the first 17 shops have not had "anything suitable" - surprise!! And it means that I get to go to my 5th wedding, EVER!!
I'm taking time off today to be with Lara & the kiddies as I've done a lot of overtime recently and needed a break. So far we've been into Hanley (which was a huge step forward for Lara) and looked for "shoes". Our friend Rob is staying with us tonight on his way back from the lake district. He's been sailing all week with his "friend" (who's a girl) but she went home early as she got really sick (not of Rob, I hope) and so Rob's coming back a day early and staying with us. If nothing else it gives me an excuse to go and buy a nice big bottle of wine.
And then when he gets here, we're going out to... look for shoes!! Woohoo!! (and I thought Donna was obsessed?)
Any road up, that's what's happening at the mo. Do comment so I know people still read this, And if you are, then I WILL try to start posting stuff more regularly.
Ciao.
For those who are interested, I've finally decided on an NASB (inductive) Study Bible, which I'm very excited about, as I have several "dynamic" and "paraphrase" versions, so wanted one that was more "woody" (the phrase that James Oakley used to describe it).
I'll let you know what I think of it once I've read through it all a few times. lol.

We didn't look in many shops atall for shoes!! Dread to think what you would be like with someone who really had a shoe 'thing', you know i'm more of a 'bag' girl than 'shoe' girl!!!
