Enter the BrewKing...
Well, as I'm nearly into my 32nd year (nearly 31, that is), I decided it was time to learn the black art of "homebrew" and so over the weekend our friend, Rob, bought me a basic brewing setup as a birthday gift (don't worry, my birthday's some time off yet). Anyway, the long and the short of it is, 3 days and one "airlock" later, and I now have 40 pints of lovely brown bubbling away in the family kitchen. Awesome!!
The only problem so far, is that I need to get a barrel to store it all in, which my folks have offered to buy me for.. my birthday (surprise). But that's at the end of November, and this stuff's gonna need barreling in about 4 day's time. Ooops.
I'll think of something, but for now it's just nice to know it's all doing fine. If you want to be a part of the first "sampling committee" you need to aim to meet up with us around the end of november when it should be just about ready to sip on!! Woohoo.
Anyways, that's enough about that.
As for home - everything's pretty normal. Work's quite interesting, but I can't really go into that, and there's still little sign of my voice returning.
Ciao me'darlins!!
