Playing to my strengths...
Work wise, this week has been a pretty good one.
I've spent loads of time talking to the various people that I coach/line manage and helping them to think ahead more and set achievable targets. It's so excellent when you get to do the stuff you love doing (in my case inspiring & maximising people's strengths) and getting paid for it.
I really can't believe how much my attitude towards work (or at least, grabbing every opportunity at work) has changed since the beginning of MLS. It's all a little bit weird really.
Family wise, this week has been a bit frustrating as Lara, Maisey & Zak have all had colds, and as usual, just as they start to get better, I catch the thing. You know that feeling when you have a sore throat and you can just tell that by the morning your cold is going to be fully fledged and horrible? Well, that's where I'm at right now.
I really shouldn't have played squash this evening I guess, but I figured it may help to shake the cold off. Obviously not.
And that's all I have to say about that really.
Cya soon dearies!!
